The St. Lucia Tennis Association (SLTA) proudly concluded the 2025 Jingle Balls Open Tennis Tournament, marking a thrilling end to a highly competitive season.
The tournament brought together a total of 85 talented athletes from across the region, showcasing skill, determination, and sportsmanship at the National Tennis Centre. We were delighted to welcome 21 athletes from Guyana, led by Head Coach Andre Erskine, and 5 athletes from St. Vincent & the Grenadines, under the guidance of Coach Janelle Gonsalves. Their participation added an exciting international dimension to the competition, fostering camaraderie and friendly rivalry among young tennis enthusiasts.
The tournament featured intense matches across multiple age categories, with athletes demonstrating remarkable talent and perseverance. The event not only celebrated athletic excellence but also strengthened regional tennis connections, providing players with invaluable experience in a competitive environment.
The SLTA extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participating athletes, coaches, parents, volunteers, and supporters who made the Jingle Balls Open a resounding success. We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to grow tennis in St. Lucia and the wider Caribbean region.
Congratulations to all athletes for their outstanding performances, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on the courts in 2026!
