BILLIE JEAN KING CUP DEPARTS FOR EL SALVADOR

St. Lucia's national women's tennis team is set to compete in the 2025 Billie Jean King Cup Group III Americas, hosted in El Salvador from August 18–23, 2025. The squad, led by playing captain Stacey Roheman, features a determined group of young athletes: Julia d'Auvergne, Jaelyn Henry, and Jessica Eudovic.
This marks St. Lucia's second consecutive year participating in the prestigious international competition, often regarded as the "World Cup of Women's Tennis." In their debut appearance in 2024, the team impressed with a 5th place finish out of 10 nations, a result that showcased their potential and competitive spirit.
Now, with experience under their belt, the St. Lucian ladies enter the 2025 edition with a renewed drive and a clear goal: to secure promotion to Group II.
The team's participation highlights not only their individual and collective dedication but also the growth of women's tennis on the island. Their journey serves as inspiration for the next generation of players, proving that with hard work and unity, St. Lucia can make its mark on the international tennis stage.
With national pride at heart and the support of the local tennis community behind them, the St. Lucia team will look to build on last year's success as they step onto the courts in El Salvador, chasing their dream of promotion and a brighter future for tennis at home.
